Current Vacancies

Site Managers

We are currently looking to recruit highly organised and motivated Site Managers to work in both the Warminster & Bristol areas. We are looking for candidates who are able to work on a variety of construction projects and are able to manage projects to timescale and financial targets, whilst maintaining excellent communication skills to Client & Subcontractors.

You should ideally be computer literate and must have a proven track record of efficient site management. Being qualified in First-Aid would be an advantage.

Quantity Surveyor

An experienced Quantity Surveyor is required to join Dove Construction, a well established and expanding construction company. It operates in the industrial and commercial marketplace and is expanding into the residential sector.

As an experienced Quantity Surveyor your role will involve:

  • Carrying out all Quantity Surveying duties
  • Negotiating and securing contracts with sub contractors
  • Assisting the estimating team in the preparation of tenders, as and when required
  • Reporting to the senior Quantity Surveyor

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Graduate qualified or equivalent experience
  • 4/5 years experience in Quantity Surveying role
  • Computer literate
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Be flexible, be able to adapt to change, and be focused on client relationships and teamwork
  • Be reliable, have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work on own initiative

Estimator

An experienced Estimator is required to join Dove Construction, a well established and expanding construction company. It operates in the industrial and commercial marketplace and is expanding into the residential sector. The main objective for the role is to prepare tender prices from the information supplied by the client.

As an experienced Estimator your role will involve:

  • Detailing materials necessary for the contract to achieve the required specification
  • Estimating the cost of plant and equipment
  • Preparing an anticipated job progress plan
  • Calculating a final figure of estimated cost, making adjustments for overheads and profit, to present a final tender price
  • Assisting the quantity surveying team, as and when required
  • Reporting to Managing Director

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Graduate qualified or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4/5 years experience in an Estimating role
  • Computer literate
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Flexible, able to adapt to change, and focused on client relationships and teamwork
  • Be reliable and have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work on own initiative
