Lindab acquires Astron

Dove Construction are delighted to announce that in 2005, the Lindab Group made the acquisition of Astron Buildings from the American company, Parker Hannifin and the company brand identity is now being updated.

Regular visitors to our website and our current clients will notice that the Astron name and logo has now been replaced with that of LINDAB on each of our web pages and supporting printed literature.

Lindab, already a leading producer of metal building systems in Europe with products and services provided for the industrial, commercial, agricultural, and community markets, are complimented by Astron's European operations: The 'Astron' products strengthen Lindab's commercial and industrial product range and add the multi-storey building products that are ideal for office use.

Lindab's existing range of metal profiles, rainwater systems, and ventilation systems are now able to be supplied & marketed alongside the building system that covers the structural frames of building, wall and roof systems and products such as doors and smoke vents.

Dove Construction continues as appointed builder-dealer for the Lindab Building Systems - products and components that provide genuine value to the building owners who rely on us.

A mailer campaign of brochures and product details is being undertaken by Dove Construction to keep existing, and potential, clients and colleagues informed of this wider portfolio of products available.
