Factory and showroom space
Dove Construction was instrumental in helping the client dispose of the old site, acquire the new site and obtain planning permission for the new factory. As the new site was in a Greenfield area, Dove Construction helped to develop the new industrial estate, including the surrounding access roads which were all built to highway adoption standards.
Whilst the Masterline factory is a standard steel design, the overhanging eaves were stepped up at the first floor to create an interesting architectural feature. At the first floor window line, the panels have been switched to a vertical cladding, demonstrating how uniform steel components can be employed in a truly eye catching and original way. Internally, the flooring was laid to a higher than normal tolerance to allow the use of high level storage racks required by the client.
Dick Tallents, the Managing Director of Masterline International said,
"Buying the new building was the biggest investment that we have ever made but dealing with Dove Construction made the whole process a lot less daunting thanks to their personal guidance and expertise. Their willingness to take over the negotiations with third parties and the local authorities left us free to get on with running our business. It is a superb new building."
